How to set conditional form redirects

Conditional form redirects enable you to send leads to different destination URLs based on real-time responses from your lead distribution platform. This approach is particularly beneficial for lead sellers and agencies who need to route leads to various clients efficiently.

Prerequisites

  • An account with a lead distribution platform that supports real-time postbacks (e.g., LeadProsper, Leadspedia, LeadByte)
  • A lead form created within LeadCapture.io

Step 1: Configure Your Lead Distribution Platform

Set up your lead distribution platform to process incoming leads and return a postback response that includes a redirect URL. This URL should be specific to the client or buyer the lead is matched with.

Step 2: Set Up a Single Lead Capture Form in LeadCapture.io

Instead of creating multiple forms for each client, create one master form in LeadCapture.io that will handle all incoming leads. This form will use the redirect URL provided by your lead distribution platform to send leads to the appropriate destination.

Step 3: Configure the Webhook in LeadCapture.io

  1. Navigate to the Webhook Settings of your form in LeadCapture.io.
  2. Enable the webhook and input the endpoint URL provided by your lead distribution platform.
  3. Ensure that the webhook is set to receive a response containing the redirect URL (commonly labeled as redirect_url ).

Step 4: Map the Redirect URL Field

  1. After submitting a test lead, go to the Lead Details page in LeadCapture.io.
  2. Locate the webhook response section and identify the field containing the redirect URL.
  3. Copy the exact field name (e.g., redirect_url ).

  1. Return to the Webhook Settings and enable the Webhook Redirect URL option.
  2. Paste the field name into the Webhook Redirect URL Field Name input.

Step 5: Set a Fallback Redirect

In cases where the redirect URL is not provided (e.g., the lead is disqualified), set up a default thank-you page or disqualification message within LeadCapture.io:

  1. Create a fallback step or thank-you page.
  2. In the Webhook Settings, specify this step as the Redirect Error Step.

Step 6: Test Your Setup

Submit test leads through your form to ensure that:

  • Leads are correctly sent to your lead distribution platform
  • The platform returns the appropriate redirect URL
  • Leads are redirected to the correct client-specific landing pages
  • Fallback redirects function as intended when no redirect URL is provided

By implementing this setup, you can efficiently manage lead distribution and provide a seamless experience for both leads and clients, all while maintaining a single form within LeadCapture.io
