How to Set Up Multiple Webhooks in LeadCapture.io

Sometimes, you may want to send leads from a single form to multiple platforms like your CRM, email tool, or a third-party system. LeadCapture.io supports multiple webhook integrations per form to help you do exactly that.

This guide walks you through:

  • Setting up the default webhook
  • Adding additional webhook integrations
  • Mapping fields for each webhook

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • The Webhook POST URL for each platform
  • The field mapping details (e.g., how the destination platform expects the data to be labeled)

You can usually get this from your platform’s documentation or by contacting their support.

Step 1: Set Your Default Webhook

  1. Open your form and go to Lead Delivery.
  2. Scroll down to Webhook Settings and click Expand.
  3. Enter the Webhook POST URL in the required field.

  4. Optional: Configure the Redirect URL or other advanced options if needed.
  5. Click Save.

This webhook is treated as your default webhook and is required for the form to function.

Step 2: Add Additional Webhooks

  1. Below the default webhook section, click Create Webhook Integration.

  2. A new set of blank fields will appear.

  3. Enter the Webhook POST URL for the second system.
  4. (Optional) Adjust other fields if needed.
  5. Click Save.

Once saved, all your webhooks will appear in a dropdown list labeled Select Webhook Integration.

Step 3: Map Fields for Each Webhook

Each webhook may require different field names, so you’ll need to map each one individually.

  1. Go to the Steps tab in your form builder.
  2. Choose the field (e.g., phone number), and click the pencil icon to edit.
  3. Scroll down to Webhook Settings.
  4. You’ll see a field called Webhook Field Name, this is used for the default webhook.
  5. To map this field to another webhook:

  • Use the Select Webhook Integration dropdown to choose the second system.

  • Click Create Webhook Field.
  • Enter the field name (e.g., phone_number) as required by the receiving platform.
  • Choose the appropriate field type (typically string).

  • Click Save Webhook Field.

Repeat this process for each field and webhook.

All field names are case-sensitive. Incorrect mapping can break the integration.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If dropdowns or fields don’t load, try refreshing the page.
  • Make sure all webhook field names match your platform’s expected format.
  • If issues persist, reach out to support for help.
